We went down to Exeter to visit William, and stayed the night in Topsham.
As luck would have it, our trip to Rhoscolyn with Charlie, Tünde and Emili was during the week that saw the highest ever recorded UK temperature.
Iceland

I visited Iceland for four nights with two school friends, Zippy and Sid, staying in Reykjavik.
Sid was running the TV coverage of Iceland's Nations League football games for UEFA, which was the catalyst for the trip. We also found time to visit the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa.
A highlight was the Into the Glacier tour of the man-made ice tunnels and caves in Langjökull. We stopped at the Hraunfossar and Barnafoss waterfalls on the way.
The Gunnuhver thermal springs, Þingvellir and Kerið crater.
The Geysir thermal area and Gullfoss (Golden Falls).

We went to Battersea Park to watch the Platinum Jubilee flypast, it was also our first trip on the new Northern Line extension to Battersea Power Station.
We went down to Bath for the day to see Adam, and went for a walk from Dundas Aqueduct to Claverton Pumping Station.
